To enable visitors to gain an appreciation of the Ballarat railway heritage, Ballarat "A" Signal Box is open to the public on the first Sunday of each month. The hours are from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm. Entry to the site is via Davies Street. Admission: By Donation.

Commencing in May 2000, there will be tours conducted on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month.
